- Private Jets and Posh Getaways

Private Jets Increase Happiness
Unlike flying on commercial airlines, chartering private jets makes people happy. Whether you own or charter a jet, it’s the safe, hassle-free experience that gives people peace of mind. After all, the American dream is about having freedom to build wealth and pursue happiness.

Although some people would debate on whether money can buy you happiness, no one can debate that having the wherewithal allows one to enjoy life to the fullest. For instance, take actor Johnny Depp, who told Vanity Fair magazine, “Money doesn’t buy you happiness. But it buys you a big enough yacht to sail right up to it.” Depp flies on private jets, too.
TV mogul Oprah Winfrey is another example of obtaining the American dream and makes no bones about how she loves her private jet. In 2009 she told the graduating class at Duke University, Durham, N.C., “It’s great to have a private jet. Anyone that tells you that having your own private jet isn’t great is lying to you.” Winfrey also told students to reach for the stars—become wealthy and successful. However, she also pointed out that being successful means helping other people along the way.

When Depp commented on his yacht, he was talking about sailing to his private island in the Bahamas, which he dubbed Little Hall’s Pond Cay. You don’t have to own a private island in order to stay at one; you can even rent a private island. Many celebrities and business tycoons who own private islands have built luxury resorts and posh villas that the general public can rent.
Private Jet Getaway to Necker Island
Sir Richard Branson’s Virgin Limited Edition boasts numerous luxury properties for rental. Necker Island in the British Virgin Islands, north of Virgin Gorda, comes to mind. Accommodating up to 28 people, you can have exclusive use of Necker Island sharing 14 rooms—eight in the great house and six villa homes scattered around the island.

Based on a five-night stay, per person, per night, the rate is $1,946.00, if you arrive before Dec. 31, 2011. Rates are also available for couples, singles and people who have children, where you’d share the island with others.
But still, flying off to paradise to enjoy a vacation or honeymoon should start by being pampered on board a private plane. When flying to Necker Island, your chartered aircraft will land at Beef Island, and then you’ll be transferred by boat to the island. However, if you plan to charter a private Boeing Business Jet or Airbus 320, you can fly into St. Thomas or Puerto Rico.
- Pets on Private Jets with Pet Nanny
By Karen Di Piazza / Feb. 17, 2011
Private Jets and Pet Nanny
For business or leisure travel, more people are turning to on-demand private air charter instead of commercial airline service. Not only does private jet travel ensure complete privacy, security, comfortable seating and choice of catered food, but it also allows pets on board with the people who love them. Pets are part of the family, too, which led me to Sit ‘n Stay, a company that provides pet nanny service on board private planes.
In-flight Pet Service
As part of its in-flight pet nanny service, pets are specifically catered to, and that includes their food. The company’s focus is to make your pet feel like an important guest, too. The company says most of its personnel are licensed flight attendants who have extensive experience on commercial and private jets. Furthermore, the company says services offered by trained pet professionals are certified by the American Red Cross’ Pet First Aid and CPR programs, and are also fully insured by Pet Sitters International, LLC.
“We have also created specific safety recommendations and practices for pets on private jets so their trip is just as safe and secure as yours,” says Sit ‘n Stay. “When we’re your flight attendant, your pet is never an afterthought but rather a celebrated guest in the cabin!”
